The Pure Water Project provides assistance by facilitating governance and funding, developing infrastructure, and providing technical assistance.
Governance and Funding
The Pure Water Project will provide assistance in the establishment and instituition of a social and environmental contract and framework by:
- facilitating the creation of a local governance body (or Water Board, governed by democratic process), if one does not already exist
- facilitating coordination with neighboring communities, as appropriate
- facilitating establishing rights and status with regiional authorities, as appropropriate
- facilitating funding

In order to build, maintain and ensure:
- watershed and land management
- local water infrastructure
- water use management
- water sanitation
- water stewardship (maintenance and testing)
- water distress planning
- water culture

Infrastructure Assistance
The Pure Water Project will provide the necessary technical assistance for:
- infrastucture - access: bore wells and catchment reservoirs
- infrastucture - distribution: secure tanks and piped water
- water purification: testing and water filters
- rainwater capture: reservoirs, tanks, jars
- sanitation
